This was made using Heidi Swapp free 4x6 blank calendar printable. It has a glitter cover. I think I may make these for Christmas gifts.

What I've Been Up To.....

I have been creating 12x12 layouts for a big stack of photos on my desk. When I have photos I know I want to create a page about, they are printed and go on this pile. 

I created layouts for some fall and Halloween photos from last year. I used all my fall stash of paper/ embellishments which is good because now I can get new. :)

Some of my recent creations are below. Enjoy. 

Below are some paper bows a made using my Cameo. 

Mini album and "camera" box to store it in.  It's not quite finished. It's cute. 

I'm also doing Project Life. Documenting a week at a time. No set number of pages, just however many it takes for the week. 

"Tattoo Girl" 12x12 Layout Inspiration

Just sharing a layout using Maggie Holmes papers and the fun 'Hipster' embellishments by BasicGrey. It was much fun to create and I used some of my home made enamel dots. 

Pearler Beads / Enamel Dots

After much trial and error I found the method for melting pearler beads into enamel dots that works for me. I used my 50% off coupon at Michaels and bought a 12 color pack of pearler beads. 

I melted them in a 285 degree oven for 35 to 60 minutes. The lighter colors melted into perfect dots in 35 minutes. The black beads took about an hour. The benefit of melting one color at a time is the times each color took to melt perfectly. In the end I have 12 colors of enamel dots (about 1,000 of them) - I'll never have to buy them again.

I got some cute, fast and simple ideas from Pinterest this year. I downloaded a free treat bag topper for the candy hearts.

I did end up making the "I really dig you" cards that I attached to the shovels, but it just took a few minutes in Word. I think my grandkids will love these.
