December Daily - Complete

I finally completed my December Daily and put some finishing touches on last night. I also went back and embellished some of the pages even further, but I won't go back and retake those photos.
You'll see that I got a Fuji Instax camera - it is such fun and ordered some Christmas polaroid's, they are so cute, I will have much fun with this camera.

It's time for the December Daily

I am creating a simple December Daily this year using the Simple Stories Snap System with the page pocket sleeves.
This is the front cover.
There are 3 tabbed dividers on the inside.
Below is my first page of the wreath outside my house.
It has a calendar transparency, a pocket with the #1 within a circle which holds the tag off the wreath. We purchase one every year from the students at Minico High School.

I have put all my bits and pieces of items I may want to use into a tote standing up so I can sort through it easily.

As well as a small dish which holds my buttons, words and flair.

Thanks for looking....I will try to add photos of the completed pages as they come together. Happy crafting.

Halloween Treat Bags

Design Team Project using My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting Halloween papers. The treat bags turned out cute. I used a Chinese take out container to put them all in. There are 4 different ones - these can be seen in person at La Vintage Paperie in Burley.

Advent Calendar for my Design Team Project

This advent calendar was created using a compartmental tray that I got at a yard sale for .50 and Crate Paper papers along with some Christmas embellishments I had on hand from last year.
Christmas is not that far away....must get busy with projects.....
This is the tray after I added the papers to the inside of each compartment.

Ikea Photo frame Flip Book

Last time we made a trip to the Utah Ikea store, I picked up some of the .99 cent frames specifically for making flip books. I saw one somewhere (probably on Pinterest) and thought it was such a great idea.

I used the Crate Paper Story Teller Collection. I cut all my pages ahead of time, 2 of each double sided paper so I'd have a page with each pattern. I punched all the holes ahead of time and test fit it into the frame to make sure it fit and was easy to flip though the pages.
I decided it would be a chronological overview of 2013. Using just the best photos of the things we did each month.

THEN, on the back of each page, I would do the same for 2014!
But - I don't think it's going to fit!! Here we are the end of July and its so full, its a bit hard to flip the pages.

I used the chipboard elements and stickers and die cut sheet from the Crate Paper Collection as well as some items I had on hand, small envelopes and small paper sacks to embellish each page. I also used Jenni Bowlin Name, Date, Place stickers.

Some of the photos are backed by a small envelope.

The small envelope holds additional photos from the trip.

So I may end up putting the rest of 2013's photos on the back of the existing pages. I am going to put this in my living room on the end table for the Grandkids to look at, they love looking at photos and remembering what we did and things that happened that day.
Thanks for looking!!
